My original idea for the screen print was to have a solid block colour background of pink and a blue shadow, but after seeing James' half-tone prints, I thought that might work better! And whilst I was trying to get rid of the half-tone on the area of shadow I realised it might actually look good to have the shadow the same colour as the half-tone so it blended in. 

So my blue screen looks like this:

And my choice of pink screens:

I personally really like the criss-cross of the text and shadow in the second one but admit that compositionally the first one might work better, as the curve of the text leads your eye back down to the shadow, figure and other text.
